Just an update on the COVID-19 and our sport.
As you aware, there are restrictions around public gatherings and rules around leaving your home.
These measures are in place to keep the community safe.
Breaches of these orders attract heavy penalties.
We realise that our members are anxious to get back out to their range and shoot, but we must comply with the rules.
The NSWAPA is attending weekly online meetings with Sports NSW and the Minister of Sport.
As soon as there are any changes to the current restrictions, we will notify our clubs immediately.
Also, we are waiting for the amendment to the legislation regarding number of attendances required for licensing compliance.
Again, as soon as we receive notification, we will be advising our clubs right away.
In the meantime, why not visit the NSWAPA Facebook page and check out the Range Reports and Webinars hosted by Pistol Australia to help keep our members engaged during this time.
There are competitions, exercises, interviews etc to keep you motivated while you can’t be out shooting.
